Ian will not be forgotten. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, good company and always in good humour. He was devoted to Ruth, as she was to him. Ian's contribution to Henley Lions club and to the town was immense. His Lions work was recognised by a Melvin Jones Award. Henley Town Council awarded him the Town Medal. Both were well deserved. Always creative and innovative, he was constantly looking for opportunities to help the young and those less fortunate than himself. He was an example to us all and will be sorely missed.
